Welcome back everyone. I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you for many years of great memories and lasting friendships. But it is with a saddened heart, that after 8 years, I announce my retirement as the JCO president. I take from here so many good times and some great friendships. To those of you who showed me love and support through thick and thin, I thank you.

It is unfortunate that I will likely only be remembered for my final days here. It is also with 20/20 hindsight that I see my actions in shutting the site down so abruptly were wrong and how it has hurt and affected so many. But the accusations at the time cut me so deep, I felt it was justified. For the record. The individual the comments originally came from has contacted me and apologized.

Here stands before you a great new leader. A long time veteran with class, respect and a man I trust to take the JCO into the future with pride and integrity. I would now like to introduce everyone to the new JCO Club President; Nick Gareau (cyklone).

New and improved JCO forums

I'd like to take this opportunity to welcome everyone back to the JCO forums. We sincerely appologize for the week's downtime, however it was well needed downtime to make major upgrades to our forums and software. As you familiarize yourself with the new look and layout, we ask that you let us know in the "Forum Support" sub-forum if you see or find anything that is not working properly. We have spent many hours configuring and testing the new features you now have access to.

We were able to successfully transfer all of the database from the previous forum to this new one, including posts, private messages, user information, paid subscriptions/memberships/sponsorships, etc. While being in the upgrading mood, we purchased the new version of vBulletin's Garage tool because the old one was, well, getting old. In doing so, the User Garage database was mostly kept intact except for a few minor details (i.e.: Vehicle Trim Level) and pictures. Yes, that's right, your User Garage pictures are gone. There was no way for us to keep these while transfering the information over to the newer version of the software.

You will notice that the forums have been trimed down just a bit. We have eliminated about 8 sub-forums that were no longer needed. All threads were assigned to other sub-forums accordingly.

Membership prices have been revised and are in effect as of Monday, June 21st. For a limited time, 1-year memberships are now $15 and can be purchased online via the "Paid Subscriptions" link in your profile. If you have any questions regarding new memberships or renewals please contact your regional execs for help.

A few changes have been made to the exec team. Central region, being the core of the club, have themselves a fine team dedicated to our platform and the car scene in general. I would like to be the first to proudly welcome their new Central-East President: Jason McGray (Gravity). Jason brings several years of experience to the table, a born leader and successful event organizer. I look forward to working with him and all of the execs on our future shows and events.
